Congratulations guy. You made history. Well done.
What a landslide: while it was only 52% (60,913,784) to 47% (54,415,117), it was 338 to 163 electoral votes. You can’t get too much more definitive than that.
Though are we just happy to see the big idiot and the big dick out? Well, yes. But still, let’s see how Obama turns out – certainly can’t be WORSE than Bush, can he? Well, at least he can make a speech… no more bushisms… satirists are going to have to find someone else to mock.
It’s like a train wreck – you just can’t look away. I’ve been watching the CNN live stream and, there seems to be a whole lot of fluff with a really small amount of content. Much like this site.
Speaking of which, I wonder if I should have a “business version” of this blag? Maybe I will. Or maybe I just have to keep my rants to other forums – who knows.
Anyway, so long as John McCain does not win – he seems like a typical white old-man style politician who is full of little more than air. In addition, I disagree with most of the Republican ideas. Obama may or may not be much better – I’m a bit out of date with his policies, however perhaps he will be better overall.
I also hope he takes on one of the Clintons to help the country handle it’s finances. When America does well, and the dollar is up, it makes the whole dealing with US-customers so much less painful.
All in all, I predict that Obama will win based on everything I’ve seen thus far.
